Each year on ANZAC Day, the Dawn Service is held at memorials and cenotaphas, in cities and towns across Australia. The service has a significant link to our soldier’s dawn landing at Gallipoli. Since 1920, the Dawn Service has become a traditional form of remembrance. The ceremony consists of commemorative events including laying of wreaths and the recitation of stories and poems, to symbolise the unity of ANZAC.
